College Access and Adult Health

Access to 2-year post-high school institutions positively impacts schooling attainment, as well as subsequent employment and earning levels. This is particularly evident for whites and Hispanics. Using a different sample, there were also benefits to health behaviors and outcomes in adulthood, reducing smoking and improving exercise levels and self-reported health. Although, long-term health conditions were unaffected.
