Recording Available: Supporting E4A Applicants through Design Consultation and Matching Services

April 25, 2019

E4A offers two Technical Assistance (TA) services to select applicants who propose innovative or important projects, but whose research plans do not initially meet E4A’s criteria for funding. This may include applicants from both academic and non-academic backgrounds (e.g. non-profits, community-based organizations, social service providers, etc.). TA services are intended to help applicants improve the rigor and/or feasibility of their research projects to be more competitive for E4A funding (or funding from another source).

In this webinar, speakers:

  • Described the two main forms of TA: Design Consultation and Matching Services;
  • Explained the eligibility criteria and process for referral to TA;
  • Provided examples of what to expect; and
  • Hosted a live Q&A period with participants.

Speakers:

  • Erin Hagan, PhD, MBA, E4A Deputy Director
  • May Lynn Tan, DrPH, MHS, E4A Research and Policy Program Manager
  • Albert W. Wu, MD, MPH, Co-PI, Accelerating Collaborations for Evaluation (ACE), Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
  • Ezinne Eze-Ajoku, MBBS, MPH, Partnership Acceleration Liaison, ACE, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
